Our pet friendly hotel rooms are conveniently located on the first and second floor. They’re available in a variety of room types to suit all travellers’ needs, but the total number of rooms is limited so it’s advisable to book early. Upon arrival, you’ll be asked to register your pet, and in return, you'll receive a special gift bag complete with treats, waste bags and a guide to the local dog parks.
Our Pet Policy is as follows:
Each pet friendly specific room can accommodate up to two pets. The pet fee is $50.00 per stay plus GST.
Similar to other Okanagan hotels, pets must be on leash or transported in a travel carrier when they’re not in your room. Pets cannot be left in the room alone, nor unattended anywhere in the hotel. Upon check-in, pet owners must provide an emergency contact number.
Owners are responsible for all damages, accidents or mishaps resulting from your pet’s behavior, and you agree to take all reasonable precautions to ensure your pet doesn’t bother other guests. If the hotel is required to compensate another guest for a pet-related disturbance, you may be subject to additional charges.
Housekeepers will not service any room where there is a pet left unattended. To avoid situations like this, we request that you contact the front desk to arrange a convenient time to have your room serviced during your stay at our Best Western in West Kelowna.
We provide waste bags so that you can clean up after your pet outdoors. If you require additional bags, the front desk will gladly provide you with more.
