The Okanagan, and the rest of BC, is a natural paradise! If you’re on the road, be sure to check out the Route 97 website to explore nearby sights and sounds while on the move.

West Kelowna, steeped in the rich history of the Syilx (Okanagan) people, is a vine-laden lake side valley with an abundance of beauty and entertainment!

Start your day learning about West Kelowna’s agricultural roots with a visit to Gellatly Nut Farm Regional Park, a working heritage farm where you can pick your own chestnuts, walnuts and hazelnuts for purchase.

Later, you can play a round at two of the area’s premier golf courses, Shannon Lake and Two Eagles. Or, if you prefer grapes over golf, drink in the beauty of the area by embarking on a wine tour to some of the oldest and most established vineyards and wineries in the Okanagan.

For some leisure time, spend the day relaxing on one of the area’s many beaches on the sparkling waters of Okanagan Lake. Enjoy quality time with family in the many play areas, or walk your dog from our West Kelowna pet friendly hotel to a nearby park, with forested and beach trails offering spectacular views.

Hiking is also popular in the area, as there are numerous parks—such as Glen Canyon Regional Park and Bear Creek Provincial Park—that provide expansive trail networks and some of the most breathtaking views the Okanagan Valley has to offer.

At the end of your day, wind down and enjoy an evening at many of the award-winning West Kelowna winery restaurants: Mission Hill; Indigenous World Winery and Quails’ Gate.
