GET BEERWITCHED IN KELOWNA
Celebrate Halloween at Craft Beer Market in downtown Kelowna Oct. 27 from 9 p.m. to late. A $10 ticket gives you a welcome beer, entrance into the costume contest, and dancing to a live DJ all night.

ENJOY A TRIPLE HALLOWEEN TREAT
Located across the William R. Bennett bridge in North Kelowna, The View Winery is serving up its Spooktacular Halloween Candy, Wine and Cider Pairing, Oct. 27 and 28 from noon to 5 p.m. Admission is $4 (includes tasting). There will be gifts for adults in costumes.

SCREAM AT THE SCREEN AT HORRORFEST
The Okanagan Society of Independent Filmmakers (OSIF) hosts its 10th annual indie horror film screening and festival at The Habitat in Kelowna Oct. 26. Watch the best locally made horror films, enjoy an after-party with a DJ, prizes for best costume, popcorn and drinks, and some blood and gore. You’ll be glad to head back to your West Kelowna hotel with pool to wash away all the carnage.

SEARCH FOR THE GREAT PUMPKIN
Kelowna’s McMillan Farms has just opened in time for some fall Halloween fun. Families can pick their pumpkin from the patch during the weekend Pumpkin Festival, Oct. 13-15. The event also features a corn maze, pumpkin slingshot and hayrides. Cost is $30 for a family or group of five.

CLOWN AROUND AT THIS YEAR’S HAUNTED CORN MAZE IN VERNON
Not for the faint of heart, Historic O’Keefe Ranch, located an hour north on Highway 97 from hotels near West Kelowna, is holding its annual Field of Screams. This year’s Three Ring Mayhem offers three mazes with a creepy clown theme. The event runs nightly from Oct. 12-13, 17-20, 23-27 and 29-30 from 7 to 10 p.m. and admission is $10 per maze. While this event is not recommended for young children, the ranch holds a daytime Family Daze at the Corn Maze that is kid friendly.
